The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behaviour is Kyon a boy who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. Commenting on Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting Kyon unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after school club. Thereafter Kyon and several others find themselves literally dragged into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short).

Wow, thank you so much for posting these! One question though... how in the world did you compress Arigatou's encodes to 50 MB but keep the amazing quality? You did such a good job with that! ^^

If you are interested in converting video media, you could try googling MKVToolnix and alltoavi (nospaces), both very good rograms for converting.

Rose, I respectfully beg to differ. While the vids are good quality for such a small file size, they aren't exactly awesome looking. I've noticed frame-rate issues, as well as artifacting galore.

That's not to say that this isn't appreciated, because it very much is. It's just that for those out there who appreciate high-quality video, this isn't going to fill their needs. It is however, totally going to satisfy anyone looking to feed their Haruhi obsession, and who isn't totally obsessed over pristine video quality. :P

Just in case it went unnoticed earlier, I want to thank you for the vids. I'm snagging this elsewhere, but it's slow going, and this will totally held me over in the meantime.

Well, at least until they release a box-set, at which point I'll run out and snag that to add to my collection. I never was a fan of the price gouging that publishers engage in through their pithy 3 or 4 episode disks, each weighing in at a hefty average of 25 bucks apiece. When you're talking about a 24-26 episode series/season, it adds up quick. Heck, even this show, with its slim 14 episode total saw a 4 disk release. I'd much rather get a whole season in one go for a reasonable price.

Anyway, you rock!
